This Shipping Policy applies to all moulding products sold by Everest Mouldings & Specialties through LightCoves.ca.
1. General Shipping Conditions
Shipping costs, freight class, handling fees, packaging charges and estimated delivery timelines will be provided at quotation stage. All orders must be paid in full prior to dispatch.
Shipping timelines are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, weather conditions, regional logistics, customs processing, or factors beyond our control.
2. Delivery Areas
We ship across Canada.
Local deliveries within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) may be performed by carrier, courier, or dedicated truck depending on order size.
Oversized moulding products may require freight shipping.
3. Oversized / Dimensional Freight
Due to length and dimensional size, certain moulding products require special handling and freight-rated transport. Buyer is responsible for providing accurate delivery address, access requirements, and delivery instructions for carrier.
Additional fees may apply for:
- Inside delivery requests
- Liftgate delivery
- Limited access locations
- Remote area surcharges
- Re-delivery attempts
4. Inspection Requirement
Buyer must inspect product immediately upon receipt. Any visible shipping damage must be documented at time of delivery wherever possible, and noted with carrier if practicable.
All claims must be reported within 48 hours with photographic evidence. Claims reported after this timeframe may be denied.
5. Risk of Loss
Risk of loss passes to Buyer when product is accepted by the carrier for shipment, unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing.
6. Failed Delivery / Storage Fees
If delivery cannot be completed due to Buyer not being present, not providing access, or providing incorrect shipping information, Buyer is responsible for all related re-delivery and storage costs.
7. No Returns Due to Shipping Challenges
Because mouldings are manufactured custom and cut to order, shipping complications or carrier delay does not constitute grounds for order cancellation or refund.
8. Governing Law
This Shipping Policy is governed exclusively by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. All disputes shall be resolved solely in Toronto, Ontario.
