RETURN & REFUND POLICY

This Return & Refund Policy applies to all products sold by Everest Mouldings & Specialties through LightCoves.ca.

1. Custom Manufactured Products — Final Sale

Most mouldings we produce are custom manufactured to order. Due to the nature of customized production, all moulding sales are final once production has started. Custom orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Custom mouldings
  • Made-to-order profiles
  • Cut-to-size or special order products
  • Painted, primed, coated, or modified items
  • Clearance or promotional sale items

No exceptions apply once manufacturing is initiated.

3. Inspection Upon Delivery

Buyer must inspect all received product immediately upon delivery or pickup. Any claims of damage, shortage, or discrepancy must be reported within 48 hours of receipt with supporting evidence (photos required).

Failure to report within this period constitutes full acceptance.

4. Order Cancellation Requests

Cancellation is only possible prior to production and must be approved in writing. If materials, scheduling, engineering or tooling costs have already been incurred, Buyer is responsible for those associated costs.

5. Shipping Damage

Shipping damage must be documented at the time of receipt and noted on carrier paperwork when possible. Claims submitted without proper documentation may be denied. See Shipping Policy for full freight rules.

6. Refunds Not Related to Defect

No refunds will be issued due to aesthetic variation, colour, LED brightness differences, subjective preference, or installation outcome. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to confirm compatibility and suitability prior to ordering.

7. Warranty Claims

Defective moulding claims (covered under Lifetime Warranty) will be handled in accordance with the Lifetime Warranty Policy. Warranty claims are processed through replacement product only — no refunds are issued for warranty claims.

8. Governing Law

This policy is governed exclusively by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any dispute shall be resolved solely in Toronto, Ontario.
